That's the Ticket

So, pretty excited today. Got my prom dress yesterday. It's not the one that I posted a few weeks ago but it's a lot better!

I also found out that Jess and Kristi can go to Florida! I'm super excited. But the only thing is that my friends are all dirt cheap, as am I, and keep questioning my math skills. But I'm just trying to be careful. I don't want to be on the way home and everyone's broke because I told them all to only bring so much money with them and then we'd be trapped in Florida! Not that that'd be a very bad thing but still! I get pretty home sick sometimes. And I think my aunt will be sick of us by then. haha.

I also realized how bratty I can be sometimes. At least I'm open to listening but sometimes I think a lot of things really through and when someone else trys to get me to do the said thing differently, I find that super annoying. I guess I'm just really ignorant when I think I know what I'm talking about. haha That happens in a lot of situations now that I think about it. hmmm.

Ugggh, I can't believe a damn dress was $400.00! Speaking of that, Ali kept saying, "You need to splurge sometimes! It's senior year" whenever I continued to fret about actually getting such an expensive dress. But now that I think about it, I do splurge on stuff. Just only stuff that I think is worth it, like Florida. That is completely worth the money to spend a week on the beach in the sun while drinking fruity mixed drinks and spending quality time with some of my favorite people. And I don't know if it's just me but Prom isn't as exciting as it's hyped up to be. Sure it's fun and a good experience but to me, it's just like over priced homecoming. Thats why I guess it was difficult for me to actually let Ali buy it.

Buuut, I do love the dress. It screams my name. =]
